World’s Tallest Dog Zeus was recognized by the Guinness World Records 2013 edition. Zeus beats the record of Giant George as the World’s Tallest Dog ever, after measuring 44 inches which is one inch taller than the previous record-holder Giant George.

Zeus the World’s Tallest Dog measures 111.8 cm (44 in) from foot to withers; and 7 foot 4 inches standing on hind legs.

Zeus weighs a massive of 70.3 kg (155 pounds) and eats more or less 12 cups of food a day.

The 3-year-old Great Dane from Otsego, Michigan, USA, is owned by Denise Doorlag.

“Zeus is an awesome dog,” according to Denise, and she loves the reaction Zeus gets when the family takes him out: “The most common thing people ask is: ‘Is that a dog or a horse?’ and ‘Where’s his saddle?’

Furthermore, Zeus the World’s Tallest Dog is only one of the 3000 new entries that you can find in Guinness World Records 2013 edition.
