One World Trade Center is now the tallest skyscraper in New York City. The One World Trade Center built in replace to the twin towers destroyed in the 9/11 attacks, the new skyscraper overtaken the Empire State Building and claims as the tallest building in New York City, according to reports of several international news sites on Monday, April 30, 2012.
Reports says that One World Trade Center is rising above the 380-metre Empire State Building becomes the tallest structure in the United States and third tallest in the world.
The new One World Trade Center still unfinished and workers are still continuing to add floors and erect steel columns to the so-called “Freedom Tower,” until to finish its final height of 541-metres.
One World Trade Center is scheduled to finished later this year and possibly prepared for occupancy in 2013.
