Saneie Masilela is a 9-year-old ordinary schoolboy has become the world’s youngest groom. Saneie, 9, marries 62-year-old bride, Helen Shabangu in South Africa.
Saneie wears silver tuxedo, while Helen wears long-white wedding gown to renew their vows in a traditional ceremony to make their marriage official in Kildare Village, Ximhungwe, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Several international news site reported that a year ago when they first married, when Saneie claimed that he had been told by his dead ancestors to wed.
Saneie is the youngest of the five children of Patience Masilela, Saneie’s mother. “Saneie was fine and he was happy about the ceremony last year and it what he wanted – he was not shy,” Patience said.
Alfred Shabangu, Helen’s husband of 30 years, together with their five children happily attends the wedding ceremony. “I’m very happy that the boy chose me and my family support and understand that it is part of making ancestors happy,” as stated by Helen.
Reports added that Saneie and his bride Helen don’t have to live together and no marriage certificate involved.
On Saneie statement, he will continue go to school and study hard and soon to properly marry in future with the lady in his own age at the right age on the right time.
