Introducing the newest sneaker from the Air Jordan signature, the “Jordan XX9”. Nike unveils Air Jordan XX9 in Manhattan, New York City on Thursday.
Jordan XX9 was officially unveiled by Tinker Hatfield the shoe designer, Michael Jordan himself and among other special guests. The Jordan XX9 in two colorways is another brand’s most premium performance product from Nike.

“We put a lot of hard work into this,” on Michael Jordan’s statement. “It’s not just something you throw your name on.”
“Tailored for flight” tagline of the Air Jordan XX9. The Air Jordan XX9 features an updated Flight Plate and the first use of a performance-woven upper to crate the latest revolutionary sequel in the Air Jordan line. The performance-woven upper is woven in a single piece, integrating all the critical features of shoe construction into one streamline layer, via press release.
Black/White-Gym Red and Black version, the Chicago Bulls colorway, while the other noticeable features is the elephant print used in one of the most popular Air Jordan shoes, the Air Jordan III, which also designed by Hatfield.
Team Orange-Dark Grey and Blue version, colors of the Oklahoma City Thunder, will be worn by Jordan brand endorser Russell Westbrook and features an oversized “Jumpman” logo.
“When people buy an Air Jordan, they are buying part of Michael’s DNA,” according to Tinker Hatfield.
After Nike unveils the new $250 Air Jordan in December 2012, the Air Jordan XX9 will sell for $225 and start to be available in September.
