The Flight 191 of JetBlue Airways bound to Las Vegas was forced to land in Texas on Tuesday morning, while the JetBlue Pilot was locked out of the cockpit and subdued by passengers after turns erratic, according to reports of several news sites on Tuesday, March 27, 2012.
Reports said, the JetBlue Pilot yelled about bomb during the flight from New York to Las Vegas and locked out of the cockpit by his co-pilot, which was diverted to Texas on Tuesday morning.
The USA Today reports that, the co-pilot became concerned that the captain was behaving erratically during the flight, according to the Federal Aviation Administration, which is investigating in coordination with the FBI, the Transportation Security Administration and Amarillo police.
According to JetBlue Airways statement that the captain of Flight 191 bound to Las Vegas from New York JFK International Airport had a “medical situation” and that the pilot in command of the aircraft elected to land in Amarillo immediately.
Reports added that the ill captain of JetBlue Flight 191 was taken to a medical facility in Amarillo.
