The Expedition 36 Soyuz is preparing to launch as well as the Expedition 36 Trio has a busy week preparing to launch to the International Space Station Tuesday night Eastern U.S. time, Wednesday in Kazakh time.
The Expedition 36/37 Soyuz is now set on the Launch Pad, the Soyuz TMA-09M spacecraft is rolled out by train to the Baikonur Cosmodrome launch pad, Sunday, May 26, 2013, in Kazakhstan.
According to NASA the Expedition 36/37 Trio wrapped up the whole week for some stuff needed in science experiments and research. Soyuz Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin of the Russian Federal Space Agency, Flight Engineer Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency, and Flight Engineer Karen Nyberg of NASA, are set to launch to the International Space Station Tuesday night Eastern U.S. time, Wednesday in Kazakh time.
NASA mentioned that they will conduct some of plants experiments at how plants grow in space. The important of this study is for the man more future space missions that could provide their own food while in space.
The three new crew members will remain aboard the station until mid-November.
